getting new open source operating systems

i've just ordered a cd of pc bsd, a version of free bsd that starts off with a gui instead of command line stuff. i hope to try it as a virtual machine, then migrate it to full time status on one of my computers as a test and example of another operating system.

also got on the list to receive ulteo, a linux operating system that works within a web browser. mindblowing possibilities!!
